This site is a tribute to Marjorie Tillesley. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Marjorie was always a charitable lady who often supported many local charities. In light of Poppy (Marjorie's youngest granddaughter) being diagnosed with Epilepsy last year. Marjorie's last wishes were to help her granddaughter in any way she could, that is the reason why this charity has been chosen, Young Epilepsy UK charity.

This is the only charity in the UK to support young children with epilepsy. Young Epilepsy was established in 1897, after World War One, soldiers with epilepsy that had been caused by brain injury received rehabilitation and by 1939 the colony was leading the way in national epilepsy research. On 1 November 2011 the charity launched its new name, Young Epilepsy. The new name reflects the change to a national charity that supports the 112,000 children and young people under 25 with epilepsy in the UK.
